Reflection:
I thought that this lab worked really well because in the end, it look like a candle and the scent was just right. I decided to light the candle to test if the wick would burn and the results was a success. I am happy with the results because I just made myself an amazing candle that I could easily light up and I could teach my sisters and nieces how to make them as well.
I knew I got the perfect results because the candle came out looking like a candle and it the wick burned for a really long time. I think I got the desired results because I got specific information from my friends on how to make the candle from different sources that they used that gave them different tips and from their experience. I wanted my candle to be colored and scented so I decided to put a full crayon in it and three candle melts. I also added glitter by putting cornstarch and water on the sides and putting the glitter inside and shook it around but that didn't work out really well because the glitter ended up sinking to the bottom of the candle and didn't look evenly distributed on the sides of the candle.
I worked by myself for this lab with a little help from my friends Daisy and Ivy. I feel that I worked pretty efficiently because I was able to get my work done pretty quickly with some help of course. My friends Ivy and Daisy gave me suggestions on how to make the candle perfectly from their experience.
I think I succeeded on this lab and I wouldn't really change any way that I did it besides having a cleaner and bigger space to work around. I felt that how I set up the work space and where I had set it up made me really claustrophobic and very hot because to the small space and how everything was literally everywhere. But I managed to be able to work within the small space that was given to me safely and clean up afterwards. I would like to do this project again because I thought this project was a great success and I would really like to teach my sister because she's always talking about making things like that.
